I just took a shower, after an embarrassingly long time. Probably over a month, I lost count. I feel ashamed, but I did it at least!

Dont feel ashamed. I have done the same for a much longer time, to fit into an war environment overseas. I found that being homeless and sleeping in flooded basements, and dank alleys, that people just overlook you on the streets and that you can blend in better. That was over 40 years ago, on and off for around a three year period. It was a survival tactic for me, but I understand, even when the situation may be a lot different. But most of all dont feel ashamed.
Don't worry. I have the same issue. I never shower. Maybe once a month or so... I dont care what happens to me tbh
