Sounds morbid , but true..
It will just get worse. I'm married 46 years now to the marriage. She and I only put up with each other. We jokingly say..who else would put up with us?.. but it's true.
You should leave and spare both of you the time and the energy. There's no point in putting up with a relationship you aren't happy in, especially if you've talked about making changes with them and nothing is different
