I’m 21 and have high functioning Autism. I don’t have a license just a permit and I live with my parents.
Ok and what are you doing to change that?
I was in the same boat when I was 21-- no license and living with my mom. I'm 26 now and I still have no license, but I live on my own and just use public transit when I need to get around. I'm also considered high-functioning. Life actually got easier when I got my own space that was completely mine to control. Can't have sensory overload if I've designed my house to appeal to my requirements :)
Your day to shine will come. Don't worry about it. We all have our issues in life. I sure as hell have mine. I wish you goodluck my dear friend
Interesting way to justify not growing up and being an adult
I also do not have a drivers license and I live with my parents and younger siblings. But I have a job at a restaurant. Your time to shine will come. But you must make effort, just like I will have to as well. I know that some things are scary, but eventually, we all have to face them.
