I am an alcoholic. I am in recovery now, Day 3. Always just thought I drank a lot needed to cut back, but was not an alcoholic. After some reflection and online testing which showed me scoring high for alcoholism, I accept the label now. I kept up appearances and did a lot of drinking in private, so most would not suspect I am an alcoholic. I am three days into recovery. It’s long journey, but I am so glad I started on this path.
ya ignore the troll! you're doing so fucking great! i avoided the label for years too but embracing it was the only way to get sober and start actually living, i'm six years sober now. congratulations though bc the first few days are the biggest accomplishment! best of luck to you

You got this man. As a recovering porn addict within the third month of recovery, I can assure you that a recovery journey from any addiction is long. But I’m pretty sure that the results are worth it when you are finally free from it.
