I was manipulated when I was 19. I am now a 26 year-old male with autism. I was manipulated online by people, younger and older than me when I first got onto role-playing apps. It messed with my mind so much and it made me act in ways that I never even wanted to. If many people looked at it from their perspectives, they would see me as a monster, but I assure you I had no choice in the matter of my own volition. I was Manipulated unknowingly.
I’ve since kicked bad material and role-playing apps out of my life for good now. People online are toxic and influence people to become degenerates like them.

Did you not read the part where it said he is autistic? There’s even scientific research backed up by doctors that autistic adults are susceptible to being manipulated. He may have made a choice, but maybe it was not entirely of his own volition.
From what he describes, it is understandable that online media and people can be very toxic to the mind and mess with someone’s judgment

OP: they groomed me into falling for them, and then manipulating me to being inappropriate with them online. They used emotional manipulation on me, and flattered me during my bouts of depression. But then when snapped out of it, I put a stop to it and told them that what they did was wrong. Surprisingly, some did apologize genuinely.
As I’ve said in my post, I’m autistic. I was naive and too trusting of people online. It was my first time being on those apps ever and I didn’t know what type of people would be on them.
I understand if people don’t believe that I was manipulated. You never hear stories about adults, being groomed, let alone by people, older, or younger than them. Even if you do, most people choose not to believe it. But I assure you this did happen to me and now I’m just wanting to be better from now on it’s screwed up with my head and now I’m just going to distance myself from online communities and live life in the real world.
